Receptionist Job Description: 

The Receptionist is a highly valued and essential member of the team. The Receptionist is the first voice our customers hear and is responsible for providing customers, insurance partners and team member’s a high quality, individualized customer service experience. The receptionist possesses strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and has the ability to troubleshoot and work proactively toward problem-solving. 

Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities: 

● Greet all customers in a timely, friendly and professional manner 

● Answers incoming calls and complete outgoing calls as needed 

● Ensure all customer areas are clean and complimentary items are available at all times (refreshments, etc.) 

● Set up car rental reservations for incoming customers 

● Schedule estimates on the drive-in and tow-in vehicles 

● Process daily bank deposits 

● Distribute mail and faxes to appropriate personnel 

● Collect appropriate and necessary insurance paperwork as required 

● Create files for incoming vehicles and ensure all admin information collected 

● Scan in documents and file away digitally 

● Distribute mail and faxes to appropriate personnel 

● Comply with Mahnke safety rules, guidelines, and standards 


● High school diploma or equivalent required. 

● Strong computer and keyboarding skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office products. 

● Demonstrate effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. 

● Ability to work effectively with other internal teammates. 

● Must be able to work required overtime
